Effective Spend Named Google Partner Award Finalist for Shopping Excellence
Google has announced the finalists for their 2019 Premier Partner Awards. Effective Spend joins other top PPC marketing agencies as a finalist in the Shopping Excellence category. The Shopping Excellence award is presented to the agency that demonstrates the best use of Google Shopping Ads to drive more sales for their clients.
“This is an exciting nomination for us,” said Brian Wulfe, Founder & CEO of Effective Spend. “It underscores our strong agency partnership with Google which gives us the ability to stay on the leading edge of PPC and e-commerce marketing.”
For their 2019 award submission, Effective Spend highlighted their long-standing partnership with TUSHY, a revolutionary brand with products designed to upgrade human hygiene and reduce wasteful toilet paper consumption.
TUSHY wanted to expand their online market share but faced a crowded marketplace dominated by well-known brand names. Effective Spend implemented Google Smart Shopping campaigns and dynamic remarketing to expand TUSHY’s brand awareness, resulting in a 4x increase in sales.

Google hosted all finalists at a black-tie award ceremony in New York City. The Effective Spend team joined their client from TUSHY for an evening of conversations with Google executives, dinner and celebration.
What Are The Google Premier Partner Awards?
Since 2016, Google has held a yearly recognition of their top-performing partners through the Premier Partner Awards. This year’s awards were divided into six categories:
- Shopping Excellence
- Video Excellence
- App Excellence
- Display Excellence
- Search Excellence
- Growing Business Online
Out of hundreds of submissions, Google selects only five companies as finalists for each category. Watch their highlights from last year’s events to get an idea what it’s like.
How To Get Nominated as a Premier Partner Award
To be considered, companies with a Premier Google Partner Badge submit an application, a client case study, performance data, and a series of short essays about themselves and how they have found success in the category they are applying to. Google takes these applications, measures them against one another, and selects the most impressive five for each category.
