Austin-Based Effective Spend Named Among Fastest Growing Companies on the Inc 5000

This is Effective Spend’s 2nd year in a row to make this prestigious list, and the company is one of only 34 Advertising & Marketing Agencies in Texas recognized this year. The company moved up 270 spots from its 2019 ranking, landing at #3412 on the 2020 rankings. Earlier this year, Effective Spend was also recognized on Inc.’s list of the Top 250 Texas Companies.

Effective Spend has seen exponential revenue growth of 110% over the last three years and has grown its full-time team by 156%. During that time, the agency has focused on expanding its service offerings to include creative design and video animation, Amazon marketing and digital PR in addition to its core PPC and SEO services.

As a whole, the 2020 Inc. 5000 companies achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.  

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

The 2020 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2019. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2016 is $100,000; the minimum for 2019 is $2 million.

Natalia joined Effective Spend in 2011 and has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the company. She brings more than 15 years of marketing expertise, with both agency and in-house client experience.
