Effective Spend is looking for an ambitious PPC marketing professional to help support our LA expansion! Effective Spend is a well-established digital marketing agency founded in Austin in 2008. We’ve been ranked as one of the fastest-growing companies in Austin, as well as nationally by the Inc 5000. 


In addition to developing a team of junior PPC marketers, the PPC Manager will have the opportunity to sharpen their own client management and strategy development skills. They’ll own the client relationship for some of our largest accounts and work closely with our LA Senior Manager and other senior leadership to create and deliver client strategy presentations.


The ideal candidate also has proven skills in client relationship management, mentorship & coaching, project management, and data analytics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow a team of junior PPC marketers.
  • Own and build client relationships with top-tier accounts.
  • Prepare and present performance reports.
  • Work closely with the LA Senior Manager to develop new and ongoing account strategy.
  • Establish monthly client goals and track performance to those goals.


Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

  • 2+ years of full-time, professional PPC experience, including 1+ years managing the tasks of other digital marketing team members.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Experience with Display advertising is also a plus.
  • Superior ability to analyze data in Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook or other analytics platforms.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Best-in-class communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in business, marketing, advertising, statistics, analytics, or a related field is a plus.
