Effective Spend is looking for a PPC marketing professional to lead a team of junior PPC marketers. This position requires 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search and paid social advertising campaigns. Experience managing display advertising campaigns is also a plus.

 

In addition to leading a team, the PPC Manager will have the opportunity to sharpen their own client management and strategy development skills. They’ll own the client relationship for some of our largest accounts and work closely with their Account Director and other senior leadership to create and deliver client strategy presentations.

 

The ideal candidate also has proven skills in client relationship management, mentorship & coaching, project management, and data analytics.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Directly manage a team of 2-3 junior PPC marketers.
  • Manage the team’s projects from week to week, delegating tasks and leading team status meetings.
  • Review each team member’s work for accuracy and quality.

 

Team Development:

  • Train your team on new PPC concepts and product features.
  • Coach your team to improve their skills in campaign optimization, performance analysis and client communications.
  • Create each team member’s development roadmap, including promotion milestones and account goals.

 

Client & Performance Management:

  • Own and build client relationships with top tier accounts.
  • Prepare and present performance reports.
  • Work closely with Account Director to develop new and ongoing account strategy.
  • Establish monthly client goals and track performance to those goals.

 

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

  • 2+ years of full-time, professional PPC experience, including 1+ years managing the tasks of other digital marketing team members.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Experience with Display advertising also a plus.
  • Superior ability to analyze data in Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook or other analytics platforms.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Best-in-class communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in business, marketing, advertising, statistics, analytics, or a related field is a plus.
